For the first time there was a joint grading held in Navan Taekwon-Do School, Wilkinstown. Students from Navan TKD joined with Navan TKD black tagsmembers from Navan TKD Black Belt, Mr Keith Matthews club, Meath TKD. 28 students from white to red belt stepped forward for the grading test which was conducted by Master Val Douglas VII degree.

Master Douglas is a member of the INTA black belt grading panel and always gives a very rigourous test. Any student who passes will know that it was fully earned and deserved.

All students passed succesfully today and the three red belts, Niamh McKeever, Aiden Smith and Matthew Deans performed really well and their confidence was so apparent from the moment they stepped onto the mats. Next step is the blackbelt!

It was great to see students who progressed to the junior class from the 'Little Dragons' class grading in the mainstream TKD syllabus and the good level they had was noticed by Master Douglas. It was also great to see so many grade for their first TKD grading, yellow tip on the same day that three graded for their last colour belt grade, black tip.

Check the results on our 'Gradings' page.

Well done to very one on a great peformance and congratulations to Mr Matthews and his students on completing their first grading.
